Event: Delta repatriation flights from Dakar to New York

Delta Airlines has announced additional repatriation flights from Dakar (DSS) to New York (JFK) departing on the following dates: June 26, July 3, July 10, and July 17.  Dates and times are subject to change.

We understand that Delta is currently processing ticket exchanges for pre-existing Delta tickets.  If you previously had a Delta ticket for a cancelled flight, contact Delta’s local Dakar office for assistance.  All remaining tickets will be available for purchase through Delta’s website approximately 7-10 days prior to the flight’s departure.  You do not need to submit your information to the U.S. Embassy to purchase tickets.

These are a special commercial repatriation flight for U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents. In addition to U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents, other eligible travelers include those holding valid U.S. immigrant visas or those with valid U.S. non-immigrant visas in diplomatic or official categories (A and G).

The U.S. Embassy will not provide emergency visa services in connection with this flight.  If your U.S. immigrant visa has expired, please email DakarImmigrantVisa@state.gov for additional guidance.

Delta Airlines is unable to accommodate unaccompanied minors under the age of 15 on these flights.

U.S. citizens should verify the validity of their U.S. passport. If your passport is expired, please contact us at DakarACS@state.gov to make arrangements to apply for an emergency passport. All application, fee, and documentation requirements apply. See the Embassy website for additional details.

These flights will operate with limited seating capacity in line with Delta Airline’s social distancing policy.
